Data amendment in tables of PIA PRODUCT – 2022 to 2024

Description:
Small amendments have been made in .xls, and .ods tables and on SIDRA number 7752 of the Annual Survey of Industry Product – PIA-Product, related to the years 2022 and 2023. SIDRA table number 10476 has also been amended, related to the year 2024. The changes have been made in products 2330.2020, 2330.2060, 2342.2050, 2532.2070 and 2511.2070, due to a problem occurred during the review of the survey.
Actions: The files have been amended and replaced on SIDRA on the IBGE Portal.

Error characterized for not meeting the schedule date of release of the product, according to calendar made available in December 2025. The product has been postponed due to the need to rearrange the deadlines during its internal production steps. Therefore, the release of the product "Continuous Cartographic Base of the State of Rio Grande do Norte, scale 1:100,000, BC100_RN, version 2026" has been changed from October to December 2026.
Actions: The release calendar has been changed.

Replacement of composition tables of Metropolitan Geographies and Urban Clusters, related to 2025

Discrepancies have been pinpointed in composition files of Metropolitan Areas, RIDEs and Urban Clusters, related to 2025 and released on June 16, 2026.
The files in XLS and ODS formats referred to the year of 2024 rather than 2025, and the XLSX file was not available for download.
The files related to the 2025 Changes remained unchanged.
Actions: The files have been amended and updated on the IBGE Portal on July 29, 2026.
Note: It is recommended that users replace copies previously downloaded of the composition files of Metropolitan Areas, RIDEs and Urban Clusters in XLS and ODS formats, related to 2025, by updated versions.

Error in effective date of readjustment in text of IPCA-15 of July 2026

In the text of July´s IPCA-15, in the paragraph that deals with the group of Health and personal care, it was observed that the effective date of the readjustment reads "...May 2025 and whose cycle ends in April 2026.” It should read “...May 2026 and whose cycle ends in April 2027.”
Actions:
Once known the discrepancy, the information was amended in the publication on the Internet, as well as the CCS was requested to amend the news release.

Error occurred in results of IPCA and INPC of June 2026 loaded on Sidra

Description:
COINP/GNIP noticed discrepancies in the result of the IPCA and INPC in some levels of aggregation for the monthly, yearly, 12-month and weights on Sidra.
Actions: Once known the discrepancies, COINP/GNIP requested the area of Information Technology (DTI) on July 10, 2026 the production of the files with amended results. The DTI area in charge is reprocessing the data and it is expected to have the table available still on July 10, 2026.

Description:
Data user noticed that the value of the cumulative general index in 12 months of the INPC shown in the text (4.33%) was different from that in the table of regional indexes (4.32%)
Actions: Once known the mismatch, the adjustment in the information was immediately requested to the CCS to amend the release, as well as fixed in the report published on the Internet, with a new load in the publication server.

Errors were pinpointed on page 72, 2nd paragraph.
Actions: Amendment of the indicator, which was calculated in relation to the total number of students aged between 13 and 17 years who had used any tobacco product in the 30 days before the survey to the calculation in relation to the students aged between 13 and 17 years who had experienced once in a lifetime any tobacco product other than cigarette.

Amendments and adjustments in files of tabular plan of 2019 National Survey of School Health (PeNSE)

Description:
Three tables numbered 5.10.x of the tabular plan of the 2019 National Survey of School Health (PeNSE), block related to Students aged between 13 and 17 years, showed a discrepancy between the results shown and the footnote. While the footnote highlighted that the indicator was calculated "Among those who once in a lifetime experienced other tobacco products”, the results refer to the entire set of students. Moreover, Table 15.16.2 had its link with the result extracted from SAS accomplished wrongly, showing results related to another indicator (Table 15.15.2). Finally, a comprehensive textual review of titles and headers of tables has been carried out.
Actions: Inclusion of three new tables, 5.10a.x, results have been reprocessed and files of the tabular plan, adjusted.

Adjustments in disaggregations, textual reviews in tabular plan of Statistical Operations: Estimates of Under-registration of Births and Deaths and Complementary Study to Application of Capture-Recapture Technique

Description:
The tabular plan of both operations includes the estimates of under-registration and underreporting with different levels of disaggregation. Some of these tables were aggregated to the tabular plan based on specific demands received by the IBGE. Once accomplished the aggregation of the new tables, specifically those below, the result by Federation Unit was prioritized. However, it is important to also include the results of these indicators by Major Region and Brazil, as usually adopted in the tabular plans of the institution. It is important to highlight that these tables deal with under-registration and underreporting indicators for specific sub-groups or those with some additional disaggregation, particularly for specific age groups. The tables reviewed were:
Table 1.5 of the Complementary Study to the Application of the Capture-Recapture Technique (2015-2022 period) and Table 1.7 of the Estimates of Under-registration of Births and Deaths (2023), which are equivalent to each other;
Tables 2.7 to 2.11 of the Complementary Study to the Application of the Capture-Recapture Technique and Tables 2.9 to 2.13 of the Estimates of Under-registration of Births and Deaths (2023), equivalent to each other as well.
Moreover, textual reviews were carried out in every table, aiming at the standardization of some terms and small amendments in some titles and headers.
Actions: Lines related to the results for Brazil and Major Regions have been included in the above tables and the text adjusted whenever pinpointed the necessity. The results previously available have not suffered any change.
