Error in the release of the seasonally adjusted IPCA of January 2026

Description:
An error was detected by the IBGE in the table referring to the seasonally adjusted IPCA for January 2026.
Actions: On March 09 of 2026, a request was made to remove the January 2026 data from tables Sidra 118 and 7061, which present the seasonally-adjusted index results. The responsible area is reprocessing the data and expects to make the tables available by March 20, 2026.

Calendar error in the release of "Annual Survey of Construction Industry 2024"

Description:
An error due to non-compliance with the release date, as scheduled by the calendar provided in December 2025. The product was postponed due to the need to correct the initially selected sample. Therefore, the release of the product "Annual Survey of Construction Industry 2024" was postponed until June 2026.

Replacement of tables in the System of Cultural Information and Indicators - SIIC 2013-2024

Description:
Due to incorrect data extraction from the SALICNET/MINC tax expenditure system, leading to data inversion among Federal Units, table 3.14 was replaced. Furthermore, tables 11.4 to 11.9 had incorrect headers due to a typing error and were therefore replaced.
Actions: The tables have been replaced.

Amendment in news on the Monthly Continuous National Household Sample Survey (Continuous PNAD) of November 2025

Description:
In the IBGE News Agency news referring the unemployment rate of the moving quarter of the Monthly Continuous National Household Sample Survey (Continuous PNAD), of November 2025, where it is read "repeating the lowest rate in the time series, started in 2012”, it should read: "the lowest rate in the time series, started in 2012”.
Actions: The mistake has been amended on the news page and on the social media in the afternoon of November 28, 2025.

Replacement of SIDRA tables of release Favelas and Urban Communities: Urban characteristics of the surroundings of housing units: Population results

Description:
The municipalities of Urucará (AM) and Delmiro Gouveia (AL) were not included in 12 SIDRA tables. In these municipalities, the Urban Survey of the Surroundings of Housing Units was accomplished only in areas outside Favelas and Urban Communities (FCUs). Therefore, the data related to the FCUs were not affected, though the results outside FCUs were impacted in these two states.
Actions: The SIDRA tables have been amended and replaced.

Description:
The IBGE would like to inform that the publications “2022 Population Census: Sample Macrodata" and “2022 Population Census: Weighting Areas”, originally scheduled for December 4, 2025, will be postponed. The postponement is due to the need to adequate the materials to the standards concerning the compatibility of formats with the effective legislation on data protection and compliance with the current international best practices for statistical offices.
Actions: The new release date will be announced as soon as possible.

Flaws were found when processing the algorithm of identification of families, resulting in errors in the results produced for two municipalities - and hence for the aggregate results of the respective Federation Units, Major Region and for the national results of the Families theme.
Actions: The complete publication has been replaced by a second edition amended and updated. The Sidra tables have been replaced as well.

The release of the results of 2022 Population Census: Urban characteristics of the surroundings of housing units in Favelas and Urban Communities will occur on a new date, December 5, 2025.
Actions: The Highlight with the new date was changed on the Portal on November 10, 2025.

We inform that the scheduled release date of the product has been postpned for two days, due to the readjustment of the schedule of the 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change - Conference of the Parties (COP30), that will take place from November 10 to 21, 2025.
Therefore, the scheduled release date of the product "Protected Areas in the Legal Amazon: an environmental and statistical portrait" has been postponed from November 10, 2025 to November 12, 2025.
Actions: The release calendar has been changed.

Replacement of publication 2022 Population Census: Indigenous ethnicities and languages: Major sociodemographic characteristics: Population results

Description:
Amendment of four data in the first paragraph of page 223 of the complete publication. Instead of 99 languages, there are 97 languages for Manaus/AM; instead of 78, there are 77 languages for São Paulo/SP; instead of 61, there are 60 for Brasília/DF; and, instead of 68 languages, there are 36 for São Gabriel da Cachoeira/AM.
Amendment of five data on pages 223 and 224 of the publication. On page 223, the value of 1 708 Municipalities was informed rather than 368 Municipalities; and of 389, rather than 19 Municipalities with 10 or more Indigenous languages spoken or used within Indigenous Lands. On page 224, 25 languages were informed, when the correct is 24 languages spoken in São Gabriel da Cachoeira/AM within Indigenous Lands. Values for Bom Jesus do Tocantins, in Pará, were also amended from 23 languages to 22 languages, and for Pacaraima, in Roraima, from 20 languages to 19 languages.
Actions: The complete publication has been replaced.
