Experimental Statistics

Experimental statistics are those still being tested, i. e., they have not yet reached complete maturity in terms of harmonization, coverage or methodology, as they result form a new statistical operation (survey, summary system, classification or other type) or from new indicators in consolidated operations. These statistics can also result from the testing of new methods, different forms of obtaining data or measurement of phenomena associated to new or consolidated operations. When the proposed methodology for new statistics needs to be discussed with users before its application in a statistical operation and before the generation of complete results, it can be introduced as an experimental study. The dissemination of experimental statistics and studies aims at involving users and those interested in their development in order to make sure quality will be a priority since the early stages. Therefore, there is a link to a form on each page of experimental topics or statistics so that users can leave their impressions.
