From the reference month of January 2020 onwards, the Monthly Survey of Trade - PMC and the Monthly Survey of Services - PMS will make a whole set of ad hoc changes in the indexes of monthly prices used to deflate the revenue of enterprises.
This adjustment was needed due to the updating of the weighting structures of the Extended Consumer Price Index - IPCA, specifically the discontinuity of some IPCA items associated with the activities of the surveys, which caused their deletion, followed (or not) by their replacement by other items.
