On May 13, 2026, the IBGE will release the publication 2022 Population Census: Indigenous ethnicities and languages: Population results (2nd edition). The release will update the publication of October 24, 2025, which portrays the ethnic-linguistic diversity of the indigenous peoples living in Brazil, as well as a full set of information on the main sociodemograhpic characteristics of different indigenous ethnicities, peoples and groups found in the 2022 Population Census.
