IBGEwill release, in March 25, the National Survey of School Health


The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) will release, at 10:00 am on March 25th, the results of the National Survey of School Health (PeNSE), conducted in 2024 in partnership with the Ministry of Health and with the support of the Ministry of Education.

In its 5th edition, PeNSE will provide information obtained directly from schoolchildren on various aspects of their lives, habits, and care, covering diverse topics such as: nutrition, physical activity, smoking, alcohol and other drug use, sexual and reproductive health, hygiene habits, oral health, mental health, safety, and violence, among others.

With information about the reality of Brazilian adolescents and young people, the survey serves as a reference and parameter for guiding public policies for the recovery and protection of this population group and future generations.
