On December 4, at 10 am, the IBGE will release "2022 Population Census: Sample microdata", which contains the files, in digital format, with the sample microdata of the 2022 Population Census. Microdata are the lowest level of disaggregation of the data of a survey, portraying, under the form of numerical codes, the content of the questionnaires, preserving the confidentiality of the information. Microdata allow users who know programming languages or calculation software to create their own tables.
On the same date, "2022 Population Census: Weighting areas" will be released, containing the files, in digital format, of the final Weighting areas of the 2022 Population Census. Weighting areas are the minimal territorial units used for weighting and dissemination of sample data of the Population Census. These territorial units highlight the spatial dimension and they are a reference for the results of the sample.
Both releases will enclose auxiliary and methodological documentation.
