On October 2, at 10 am, the IBGE will release the Continuous National Household Sample Survey: Tourism 2024. This publication brings statistics on the flows of domestic tourists in different regions of Brazil and abroad. The characteristics of travels were compiled, which, coupled with other characteristics obtained in the survey, like per capita household income, allows a consistent assessment of the domestic demand for tourism. Among the main indicators, the highlights are: reasons for traveling; overnight stays; types of accommodation selected; transportation means used; main Federation Units of destination, among other approaches.
