On September 8, at 10 am, the IBGE will release a publication that shows an experimental methodological approach for the identification and classification of green areas in urban spaces, in order to contribute to the sustainable territorial planning and life quality in the cities. The study shows a proposal of technical criteria for the standardization of mapping of these areas in the entire national territory.
