On July 7, IBGE will release the Continuous National Household Sample Survey: Persons with disability 2022

On July 7 at 10 AM, the IBGE will release the Continuous National Household Sample Survey: Persons with disability 2022. Included in the survey for the first time ever, the data refer to the third quarter of 2022, geographically detailed for Brazil, Major Regions and Federation Units.

The analytical commentaries include a number of indicators related to this theme: education, labor market and general characteristics of this group. Among them the highlights are: predominance of disability among the age groups, adjusted net school attendance rate of persons aged between 6 and 24 years, employment-population ratio, informality rate, average real earnings from work of persons aged 14 years and over.

Persons with and without disability were compared to investigate inequalities between these groups. These data will provide a detailed overview of the insertion in the labor market, as well as of the study condition of persons with disability. The Continuous PNAD pinpointed the persons with disability according to the recommendations from the Washington Group on Disability Statistics, established by the United Nations Statistical Commission, so as to guarantee the international comparability of statistics of persons with disability.
