On December 21 at 10 AM, the IBGE will release the Continuous National Household Sample Survey: Primary healthcare 2022. This publication brings a new contribution with information of the health service provided to the Brazilian infant population, by means of a specific questionnaire applied to those in charge of health of children under 13 years who were attended at least once in either a Basic Healthcare Center (UBS) or Family Healthcare Center (USF). The general objective of this module is to assess the care provided by the teams in primary healthcare centers in Brazil, attributing a score to the service provided, characterizing this attendance and deepening this analysis, based on the last medical consultation of the child in a public healthcare center in the last 12 months before the interview. This household survey - APS module - is the result of a partnership with the Ministry of Health and it comprises an adapted and reduced version of the Primary Care Assessment Tool, PCATool - infant version - Brazil.
