On November 11, IBGE will release Social Inequalities by Color or Race in Brazil - 2nd edition


The IBGE will release, at 10 am on November 11th, the study Social Inequalities by Color or Race in Brazil – 2nd edition, based on the analysis of indicators on essential topics related to the reproduction of living conditions of the Brazilian population, such as labor market and income distribution, dwelling conditions and property and education. The study also deals with the evaluation of indicators on violence, political representation and the political atmosphere of the Municipality. In this edition, the Institute tries to expand, whenever possible, disaggregation of results on the population, including results about white, black and brown persons by means of household surveys, and include the investigation on the indigenous population by means of administrative records available. The study of these topics is expanded by means of regional analyses and of specific population characteristics.
