The IBGE will release the 'Ecosystems Accounts: Results of NCAVES Project in Brazil' publication, showing the results of the Natural Capital Accounting and Valuation of Ecosystem Services (NCAVES) in Brazil, which aimed at improving the knowledge in environmental-economic accounting, especially the ecosystems accounting. The publication describes the major results achieved by the IBGE in the ecosystems accounts under the scope of this Project in Brazil, as well as it encompasses the Extension Accounts, Condition Accounts and Provision and Use of Ecosystem Services (in physical and monetary terms), released in the 2017-2021 period. The results of the second edition of the Water Environmental-Economic Accounts are also included.
