Clarification Note - PSS/Census


The IBGE would like to make it clear that there are no defined dates for the Simplified Selection Process (PSS) of the 2022 Population Census yet.

The current schedules are for internal work and planning, necessary to give support to technical operational meetings, which seek to determine the definite dates for notices, registrations and exams.

Thus, the IBGE does not ratify any pieces of information, unless they are from the Communication Coordination, in Rio de Janeiro, always in compliance with the caution and responsibility required by the communication policy of the Institute.

We count on society's understanding that it takes take to produce mature, accurate, tenable and responsible information. It is necessary and fairer to society.
