The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics will release the results of the update of the seasonal-adjustment methods of the Monthly Survey of Industry: Physical Production - PIM-PF on April 3 at 9am.

The update of the seasonal-adjustment models - parameters and adjustment factors - involves the most recent periods with data available. As a result of the use of new adjustment models and estimation methods, the seasonally-adjusted series may have their values revised from the beginning of the series until the most recent data. This will happen in every series whose new adjustment model is different from that previously used. This update also includes new indicators in the whole set of time series previously adjusted.
