The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) will start the celebration of its 90th anniversary with a special event that will gather more than 20 diplomatic representations and international bodies, public and private managers next May 4th, in Brasília. The ceremony, which will be held at Itamaraty Palace, with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will mark the launch of publications “Brazil in Figures – 2025” and “IBGE around the World,” gathering authorities, experts and other guests.
The initiative opens the commemorative schedule of activities for the Institute's 90th anniversary, with the release of special works that represent both national statistical production and the international presence of the IBGE.
