On Tuesday, November 18, the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) will open one more branch of the project Casa Brasil IBGE, this time in Fortaleza, capital of the state of Ceará. The Institute for Economic Research and Strategy of Ceará (IPECE) will house the new center, which is prepared to host exibitions, events and other actions aimed at dissemination of IBGE products.
The opening ceremony will be attended by the president of the IBGE, Márcio Pochmann. Casa Brasil IBGE has branches in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Recife (PE), Juiz de Fora (MG) and Belém (PA).
