This Thursday (November 13), the IBGE and the Municipal Government of Niterói/RJ will be participating in the seminar "Enumeration of the homeless population," which will discuss the pilot project applied to the city in 2023. Results of the initial study, intended to support a proposed methodology for the 1st National Census of the Homeless Population, will be presented.
The event will be attended by Márcio Pochmann, president of the IBGE, and of Rodrigo Neves, mayor of Niterói, besides technicians from the Institute and the Municipal Government who were engaged in the project. The event will be streamed from the auditorium of Oscar Niemeyer Foundation, which is part of the group of monumental buildings in the Niterói shoreline, conceived by the modernist architect.
