The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) will present, this Monday (10), results from the thematic section on the climatic event: storm in Rio Grande do Sul, within the Survey of Basic Municipal Information (MUNIC) 2024. The annual study will analyze the political and institutional structure of municipal governments.
The event will take place in the auditorium of the Madre Tereza State Institute of Education, in Seberi (RS), with the support of the Association of Municipalities of the Production Zone (AMZOP), which represents cities in Rio Grande do Sul. The event will feature a presentation highlighting a thematic section on the 2024 storm. In Rio Grande do Sul, the study addressed aspects such as affected municipalities, alert systems, and contingency plans of the municipal governments.
