The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) will release, on October 24, at 10 am, in Campinas (SP), the results of the “2022 Population Census: Indigenous Languages and Ethnicities – Main sociodemographic characteristics - Population results.” The press conference will be held at the Institute of Geosciences of Unicamp, at the Milton Santos Auditorium, streamed online on IBGE official channels.
The publication will present a portrait of the ethnic and lisguistic diversity of Indigenous persons living in Brazil and it will also show a set of sociodemographic information about the different ethnicities, peoples and groups identified in the 2022 Population Census. The data will be available for Major Regions, States, Municipalities, Legal Amazon and Indigenous Lands, the last two also by Federation Unit.
