Experts, representatives of tech giants, public managers, government data companies, multilateral organizations, scholars and students, and members of civil society have joined the National Conference of Data Producers and Users, promoted from July 29 to August 2 by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), with the topic National Sovereignty in Geosciences, Statistics and Data: risks and opportunities for Brazil in the Digital Era.
The Conference, which has been organized in partnership with the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), has six thematic tables and 23 working groups and will gather more than 500 technicians and more than 100 speakers and roundtable and group coordinators.
