On December 3, at 10 am, the IBGE will release the Summary of Social Indicators: An Analysis of the Living Conditions of the Brazilian population 2021, which analyzes the quality of life and levels of well-being of individuals, families and population groups, through indicators that consider the heterogeneity of Brazilian society from the perspective of social inequalities. Five topics are dealt with in the chapters that make up the current edition: Work, Income, Education, Housing and Health.
Multiple databases were used to obtain the developed analyses, such as the Continuous National Household Sample Survey - PNAD Continuous (2012-2020), the PNAD COVID19 (2020), the National Survey of School Health - PeNSE (2019 ), the National Survey of Health - PNS (2013 and 2019) and the Consumer Expenditure Survey - POF (2008-2009 and 2017-2018), all of them under the responsibility of the IBGE. Other sources were used as well: the School Census of Basic Education (2020), from INEP; the Beneficiary Information System (2010-2020), of the National Regulatory Agency for Private Health Insurance and Plans - ANS; the National Registry of Health Facilities - CNES (2010-2020) and the Mortality Information System - SIM (2010-2020), both under the responsibility of the Ministry of Health.
