Mapping of Territorial Units
Objective
It represents, based on topographic mapping, the Brazilian territorial space through electronic maps elaborated especially for each territorial unit in Brazil.

- Internal: operating base/basis for census and surveys; regional divisions of Brazil; atlas; mural maps; topographic mapping; thematic mapping; evaluation of the territorial division; organization and register of territorial structures for specific means; planning and geoscientific survey.
- Out of the Institute: Users are the Ministry of the Army - Directorate of Geographic Service; secretariats and organizations belonging to the Planning Department of States and Municipalities; secretariats and organizations for defense and security of States and Municipalities; private and public educational institutions; Superintendence of Regional Development (SUDENE, SUDAM, etc); INPE; other governmental organizations; Opinion and Market Survey Institutes; state and municipal public heath secretariats; Land Institutes; society in general.
