Social Mobility 1996
This publication provides information aimed at the study of social mobility considering the issues of Education and Occupation.
It presents tables with data about reference persons and partners in the household unit, compared to information about the country, and also first job data. It includes commentaries on the results obtained, besides the study sampling plan and a glossary with the characteristics investigated.
The data are obtained from the supplementary questionnaire of the National Household Sample Survey conducted in 1996, with results published in two volumes: Brazil and Major Regions, in Volume I and Federative Units and Metropolitan Areas, in Volume II.
