Municipal Livestock Production - 2010
It presents information on the total herd, the quantity and value of products of animal origin, as well as the number of milked cows and sheared sheep, by Major Regions, Federation Units and main producing municipalities. It brings the analysis of the results, highlighting the relative contribution of the main livestock products in each geographic layer. It also measures the performance of the sector in the foreign market according to the national statistics of the Bureau of Foreign Trade (SECEX) of the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade and according to the international indicators of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The survey also includes the concepts of the investigated characteristics.
The CD-ROM, enclosed in the publication, includes the information presented in the printed volume; a table plan with the survey publishing calendar by Federation Unit, geographic mesoregions, microregions and municipalities; and a summary table with the figures and the productions of the municipal livestock. The outcome is a detailed profile of this economic segment.
