In its second edition, this publication presents the structure of the version 1.0 of the CNAE, its principles, definitions and rules of application, the explanatory notes of the content of the categories and the correspondence between the CNAE 1.0 and its original version and the International Standard Industrial Classification - Review 3.1.
The information now released are also available in the CD-ROM enclosed in the publication.
This classification is a source of basic reference in the production of socioeconomic information in the Country.
