Coffee Statistics in the State of Paraná - 1998-2001
This publication makes public the results from the Survey of Coffee in the State of Paraná, carried out from a jointly work of IBGE and Secretaria de Estado da Agricultura e do Abastecimento do Estado do Paraná, with information about the annual harvest of coffee culture and its behavior, relative to the end of 1998 harvest and the periodical evaluations of 1999 and 2001.

Data about the planted area is presented as well as about the plantation system, agricultural improvement, storage, labor, infrastructure, farm practices, harvest and trading, among others. This data is also available on the CD-ROM enclosed with the publication.
It comes to an important source to answer the need of information about the culture of coffee, specifically in the State of Paraná, in a country where this farm product has fundamental economical importance.
